Mustafa Farhad is a New York based artist whose work focuses on concepts of the hidden and the manifest, the continuous unfolding of knowledge and light from imaginal realms, countering the otherwise transient nature of daily human experiences. He creates mixed-media installations and environments that leverage light, image, sound, found objects, electronics and interactivity.
Mustafa completed his MFA in Design & Technology at Parsons School of Design and has previous degrees in English Literature and Computer Science. Apart from his fine art work, Mustafa is also a designer, photographer, curator, and art director. He is the creative director of LES Foundry and the founder of OPENSPACE Nomadic Gallery + Art Collective. He is also creative director for MOLH Archive Foundation and Pir Press.
